Teresa Brewer Died At Age 76

Teresa Brewer died early this morning at age 76. As one of the most popular pop singers of the 1950s, the news that Teresa Brewer died will surely bring some sadness to the hearts of many from the older generation.

Those of you that can remember the good ol’ days when Teresa Brewer was singing will remember some of her biggest hits that include Gonna Get Along Without Ya Now and Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall.

Teresa Brewer’s life started in 1931 and was highlighted with much success, including singing ofter with Tony Bennett. She also sang with many popular Jazz musicians during the 1970s. She also had flirted with a film career but scaled back when she decided to have a family. Teresa brewer died in her home in New Rochelle of neuromuscular disease. She is survived by four daughters, four grandsons, and five great-grandchildren. What a career she had and how sad is the Teresa Brewer death!

She sang with Tony Bennett, was on TV with Mel Torme, and won a nationwide poll to be cast in a movie. Oh how we’ll miss her.

Teresa Brewer died at age 76.

    HOW TERRIBLY SAD TO HEAR OF TERESA’S DEATH…I MET HER A LONG TIME AGO WHEN SHE WAS IN NEW YORK DOING A CONCERT. …WE SHARE THE SAME BIRTHDAY…MAY 7TH..HOWEVER…I WAS BORN IN 1937, AS OPPOSED TO TERESA BEING BORN IN 1931..
    SHE WILL BE TERRIBLY MISSED..I’D LIKE TO ADD THAT THERE ARE FEW WOMEN OF HER CALIBER..
