Robert Goulet is in a Los Angeles hospital awaiting a critical lung transplant, his wife told the associated press on Tuesday. What made Robert Goulet so sick? Apparently he’s suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, which is a very progressive and possibly fatal lung disease.

Goulet has been on a breathing tube for the last two weeks, and hasn’t been able to speak during that time. While speaking about a conversation she had with Robert before the tube was inserted, Robert’s wife said, “He said, ‘Just give me a new pair of lungs and I’ll hit the high notes until I’m 100.’”

Robert’s career as a singer and on-stage performer has gone on now for more than 55 years. His debut performance, Sir Lancelot in “Camelot”, was highly acclaimed and Robert’s career took off from there. He was a Grammy in 1965 for best new artist and a Tony in 1968 for his role in “The Happy Time.”

Our hearts go out to Robert Goulet and his family. Let’s hope that he’s able to receive the transplant he very much needs.

Last week model Sarah Welch fell through the catwalk floor. Yeah, there happened to be an enormous hole in it. What the? They should have stopped the entire thing when a kung fu artist (what?) put the whole in the catwalk. Seconds later, here comes Sarah Wells who proceed to fall right through the whole.

Wouldn’t a responsible event manager run up there to stop her? Come on people, a model isn’t going to look down while she’s walking down the catwalk. Aren’t they taught not to? Sarah and her people should get together and sue the freak out of the event people because Sarah was injured in the fiasco. I feel bad for her and she deserves some compensation.

So far the Stephen Colbert 08 presidential run has been absolutely hilarious, and the truth is that this whole Colbert for president thing doesn’t have a chance in the world, but it’s funnier than funny.

Look, the truth is that I’m not really a fan of his show, but he has a hilarious demeanor and he’s quite like-able whether you like his politics or not.

Man the real winner (and loser) here is Stephen Colbert. This fella is going to get so much freaking media coverage it’s absolutely ridiculous. You can count on even more fanatics running around spilling his lines.

I seriously can’t believe that Colbert 08 is really going forward. Stephen is scheduled to go to some of the debates! I can tell you one thing, more people will watch these debates than ever. I might tune into a few!

Danielle Peck will apparently sing tonight during game five of the ALCS. What’s really funny about the whole story is that the Indians may be using her to get and edge…

You see, Danielle Peck is a famous country singer. Is she famous enough by her own merit to sing at a game of this caliber? Or, is it more likely that the fact that she dated pitcher Josh Beckett come into play.

The Indians swear that their intentions are pure. Come on, of course the Indians are doing it because of her relationship with Josh Becket! She just happens to be singing the night he’s starting? Anyone that believes this is a coincidence needs to have their head examined., will sing the national anthem and “God Bless America” at tonight’s Game 5 in Cleveland. Beckett is scheduled to start the game for Boston? Hmm, let’s see if that chick he dated can sing so he looks like a total moron. Of course, the Indians deny:

“It’s an incredible coincidence. Honestly,” said Indians spokesman Bob DiBiasio.

What a crock of b.s.!

The Indians can close out the series with a win tonight. You know what? This tactic may seal the deal. I have the Indians 4-1.

“Today” anchor Hoda Kotb is suffering from breast cancer, and on today’s Today, she will be discussing to raise the nation’s awareness over the issue. Update: if you would like to see the Hoda Kotb breast cancer video, you can actually see it here: Hoda Kotb breast cancer on Today.

If you look closely at Hoda, you will notice a small pink ring on her index finger. Hoda says that the ring reminds her of what she went through. It helps her to feel safe. When Hoda’s breast cancer was brought up in an interview on Today, she said:

This is one of those decisions that you struggle with, in terms of what to share and how much to share. So I really spoke for two reasons. Number one, it’s breast cancer awareness month and I thought it would be a good time to talk about this.

Many of you are probably wondering about her name. Hoda Kotb is definitely not a normal name here in the U.S.. She was actually born in Egypt and says that over there Hoda is a very common name. She said that when someone yells Hoda in the street in Egypt, like ten girls will turn around.

I’m so happy that Hoda was able to survive through her breast cancer. It will give people hope and raise awareness for the disease. This is one headline that I’m very grateful to write: Hoda Kotb Breast Cancer no more.
